1. Filling of Dosing TanksA programmable logic control opens the solenoid valves of the gas supply and two dosing tanks are filled with oxygen and a combustible gas (methane or similar) until the pre-set pressure is reached. The solenoid valves are closed keeping the two gases separated and therefore non-explosive. |

2. Transfer and MixingTransfer valves are opened and the two gases are mixed in the high-pressure explosion chambers. After closing the transfer valves a piston closes the discharge tube gastight. |

3. Explosion and Injection of Pressure Wave into the PlantThe explosive mixture of gas is ignited and once the pressure in the explosion chamber reaches a pre-set value the piston moves backward and the discharge port is opened. A pressure wave is transmitted into the plant through the connection pipe, initially at up to 350 bars. After the pressure wave was ejected, the piston moves to its original position and closes the discharge port. The Explosion Generator is ready for the next explosion. |
