Manual Cleaning with bang&clean® Technology
A
specially prepared, heat-resistant bag is inserted into the boiler, or a vessel,
at the tip of a water-cooled lance. The bag is inflated with an explosive
mixture of commercially available industrial gases, and then brought to a
controlled detonation.
The resulting shock- or pressure wave will impact
directly on slag and other deposits, and causes boiler walls and tubes to
vibrate. The impact and vibration forces cause the deposits to fall of the
surfaces.
The service requires no modifications nor additions to plant
and boilers. Utilities that need to be provided from the plant are compressed
air, water, and 110/220 V electricity.

The
technology can be licensed by end-users, who will be provided with equipment,
consumable bags, training and technical support throughout the terms of the
license.
