KARDOX CO₂ System

Cardox Co 2 System for the Removal of Blockages

Build-ups and blockages are cleared and removed in vessels and hoppers using the original CARDOX System.

A hole is drilled into the build up. The CARDOX Tube filled with liquid carbon dioxide (like in fire extinguishers) is inserted through the socket into the build up. The tube is activated by a small electrical charge that starts a chemical heater, which converts the liquid CO2 into gas. This in turn creates a 600-fold increase of volume and leads to inside tube pressures of up to 3,000 bars. A pre-set burst disc will release the gas at the desired exit pressure via the nozzles at the discharge head.
